Onkyo of course claims '1st we've heard of this' although they heard of it back in January when it happened to my first unit. After whining to J&R Music where I purchased it, they have agreed to accept the 2nd one back, despite being beyond their 30 day return policy. They agreed that 2 defective units within 90 days was a bit too much to bear. It goes back tomorrow. Not sure what I will get to replace it, but not a 708.

I got my receiver back yesterday from repair. The guy said he had to replace the IC (Integrated Circuit?) and that was it, he couldn't tell me what was wrong with it exactly. I set it up and it seems to be back to normal again.
One thing I notice, there are a lot less clicking sound now. Previously, every time the listening mode changes (say if the TV program goes to commercial, or if I switch from TV to BD/DVD) there will be clicking sound. This time it doesn't. This might be the issue?
Hopefully this fix will last, otherwise I'll have to get a Denon
(I would've gotten a Pioneer Elite if they had Pandora...)
