I have some house guests here for the week. I introduced them to 3D TV with the Panasonic demo disc and showed them the Grand Canyon, Rome, and Coral Reef segments. They are totally sold. My display is a DLP Samsung HL67A750 and the player is a Panny 350 outputting checkerboard 3D. They are neighbors of mine in FL (I'm in WI now) and it was all I could do to convince them to wait till I get back to FL in October to help them with their purchases.
3D is catching.
Personally, I don't care about animated movies and I think if that is all there is going to be 3D would never make it long term. Sports - that's what is going to sell 3D. For me it's golf and NFL and it's coming for sure.
