Do any of them offer like a plush soft comfort. I think my wife wants it to be as soft as our bed. LOL!

Thank you again for everything.

bigdaddyc187,

Since I have no idea how soft your bed is, it would not be wise to speculate on softness of the Berkline recliners, but most people who try them find them to be quite comfortable and cushy.

Note to self, never admit to knowing how soft another mans wife's bed is. Second note to self, never ask anyone publicly how my wife's side of the bed compares to other furniture out of fear that someone will try to have fun with the question. :-) There are just so many ways to go with this but I really think going there with anyone that calls himself big daddy might lead to problems and pain. Having said that I will put my limited wit back in its scabbard lest my dull steel get me in more trouble. Plus only having gotten seven hours of sleep in the last four days is really starting to show.

I thought you said that you had a very soft bed?

At what distance does a curved configuration make sense compared to straight?
Thread Starter
Functionally curved configuration makes sense when you have many chairs in a row, 5+ for example.

Basically if the width of the row is bigger then the width of the screen you want to have curved configuration, so people seating in the outside recliners are facing the screen without turning their heads, and all viewers are at about the same distance to the screen.

In all other cases curved configuration would be just a personal preference and functionally would not do anything, except for the cases when you go with the narrow footprint recliners that have smaller armrests. The curved configuration in this case will give you wedges in between the seats, and those will provide more elbow space that you would need to share with someone seating in the next chair.

Waiting patiently for my 13174. I hope you either got the check today or will see it on Monday.

Did not get it yet, but I will let you know as soon as I receive it.

Roman quick question does any of the chairs have the same sort of feel like the berkline 40021 Hammock series sofa as in softness and comfort?

I wanted to get out to your warehouse but was called into work this weekend.

Sorry, I have not sat in Berkline 40021, so I cannot comment on comfort and compare it with other Berkline recliners, but in most cases the cushioning and comfort should be quite similar.

FYI: Our warehouse is not open on the weekends.

I ordered four 12003 in a slightly curved configuration from Roman. Mailed him a check on Saturday and the chairs arrived today (following Thursday). I have not opened them yet but the boxes appear fine and the delivery guy took them into the basement (no stairs). Will set them up Saturday when my son comes to help.

Thanks Roman!

What are the dimensions for the 13175's in a 4 seat curved configuration with center loveseat?
Also are they on the firmer or softer side? Thanks.

The curved set of 4 with the loveseat in the middle will be 120.5" wide. They 13175s are on a softer side.

Thanks, sent you an email. I'm hoping they're not too soft.

Pardon the possibly stupid question, but does each motorized seat have it's own power cord?

Yes, each seat has its own power cord. You can put a quality surge protector strip under one seat and run all the cords to it if you'd like.

Roman, Can a person order buttkickers installed in these chairs as well?
Thread Starter
Yes, we offer the buttkicker option, and we install the advanced BK4-LFEs. We also replace all plastic feet with rubber isolators (we use between 8 to 12 per chair) in order to decouple chairs from the floor and dump all the vibrations that come from the buttkickers.

Thanks. I plan to put some outlets under the chairs to plug them into in my theater, but wanted to make sure I put in enough.

In for 7 13175s - *gulp* - looking forward to them, even though the room is months away from needing seats.

I actually liked the look of the 12003 a bit better, but they would have been too tight a fit, so went for 13175.

These are quite different recliners. Here is my take on it:

1. 12003 has 44" high back and would fit taller folks (6'2" and up) better. The 13175s would be a good fit for folks who are around 6' tall

2. 12003 are popular because of comfort and mostly because of the features - tray and storage compartment. The 13175s are very popular because of the narrow footprint.

3. 12003 are chaise design recliners. 13175 are comfort rest.

4. Comfort - too personal to advise, but for me - both are quite comfortable. I prefer a chairs design of the 12003s, but I like the comfort of the 13175 back better.

Bottom line, if you have a chance to try them, do so before purchasing. If not - you cannot go wrong with either one. Choose based on your priorities and preferences.

12000 vs 13175

I have sat in the 12000 and they were great but I am also interested in the 13175. Anyone sat in both.

thanks
