JVC-AV48P575 Problems

Thread Starter
Just Came across this TV and its newer then some of the other CRT RPTVs I have came across. It has HDMI, as well as DVI, and when I looked at the convergence chips they were 2 different stk ratings, Sanyo STK394-210 and STK 394-240 i think.

Anyways the problem I am having with this TV is when it is turned on there is no picture in the top half of the screen, and the bottom half is kinda pink/purple with black and white lines in random places in the bottom half. Could this be convergence chips, or would it be resistors or fuzes somewhere, it is a newer TV and I haven't came across a problem like this.

Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben

Don't know if it helps, but I found the Service Manual here and it indicated that the STK's should be 394-250 and 394-210, not 394-240 (but you didn't sound sure that it was a 240). I don't really have anything else to help - just wanted to post the SM if you didn't have it. Good luck, hopefully somebody with more knowledge can help.
