I completely agree; I have the Onkyo HT-S3400 HTIB (it uses the TR-309 receiver, if memory serves) and the Audyssey Dynamic EQ feature at "Low" is awesome. The sound comes "alive" when I have this enabled.
Since I have an entry level HTIB, I remember reading somewhere that the Audyssey is factory calibrated because the receiver doesn't have an mic for true calibration. The HT-S3400 speakers are average at best - if I were to buy new speakers, does anyone know if Audyssey Dynamic EQ will still work properly?
