It's Amazon France, so it's all in French (the website) How do you get an English version of Amazon France? confused.gif

The checkout process looks similar-if-not-identical to the US Amazon--you oughta be able to click the right buttons, even if you do have to put a dummy product in another window and then click-along with it.

I got it to pull-up my name & address but stopped there.

I use Google Chrome, which translates it automatically.

You can use the same log-in details, etc, across all Amazon sites, EXCEPT the Japanese one.

Amazon.fr is very fast. I ordered the uncut Casino Royale from them a couple of years ago and received it within a week.

No. I've had the Bond 50 boxset on pre-order for months. But I won't part with my uncut Casino Royale. wink.gif

The Japanese version is A locked. It is a bit pricey though.

First off, it hasn't come out yet, and secondly it won't be the uncut version. I'm quite sure of that. They would have had to resubmit it to the MPAA to try to get a PG-13 and they likely would have given it an R-rating as they originally received back in 2006 and at the very least, you would have heard something about it at this point. The French and Aussie editions are the best way to get the uncut version.

The UK version is 100% uncut in the set as confirmed by the bbfc, and for the US they can just release it unrated

"Can" and "will" are two completely different things. I see no evidence that any such thing will be done.

As for the UK, looks like you're right - it was reclassified as a 15 in August with "additional material in torture scene".

Good for the UK edition. I guess we'll have to wait and see on the US version, but I doubt it will be uncut.

I went to Amazon France, and I got the impression that it was region B/2? I need to know for sure if I'm getting the right Gaumont release from overseas with my non-modded PS3....anyone?

EDIT....went to amazon france and checked out the specs for this disc, and it says region B/2........will this still play in my PS3? Or is there another source I can get this disc? thx in advance....

Amazon usually just goes by the packaging. Trust user reports over any specs they offer. People in this thread with the disc have stated it is region free.
Just ordered from a vendor on ebay.fr that apparently has this disc, but I'm not entirely sure if I'm going to get the right one. The picture of the slipcover looked the same as the amazon france 'gaumont' version, and it came out to be the same price.....I did the ebay thing because of my paypal credit card..... (crossing fingers).........

here's a french link where I bought it from. It was ebay france.....what do you guys think? There's not a lot of info, but the picture looks to be the right one. Here is the link (that needs to be translated) below...
