That's extremely unlikely. There is no need to create another non-3D SKU when the S30 already fills that void.
I was looking at a 46'' G25 at amazon for $900 but i wanted to wait for the new models to come out to see what changes were made. 46'' is the max size i'm looking for and i don't want to pay extra for 3D, and the S30 doesn't include the wireless adapter, has only 3hdmi inputs, and doesn't have the infinite black 2 panel.
Well for 2011 we're getting 3D ability rammed down our throats if we want a mid to high end TV, but the upside is that 3D ablility apparently also helps improve regular 2D performance.
Do you need the TV to have THX? If not, the ST30 looks like it may be the closest model to the G25 aside from the lack of THX. The MSRPs for the ST30 series look like they're about $100 less than what the G25 series debuted at in the 46" and 50" sizes a year ago.
I'm very curious if the GT30, ST30, and S30 will have the Pro Settings menu in Custom mode like the G25 does. I won't know for sure until the user manuals are released but that won't be for a few months.
That 46G25 deal is kinda hard to pass up though . . .
