So, I did a search on this and people only seem to have problems with a humming noise. My problem is that there is no noise at all. I have some floor speakers that are hooked up through the sub to a Kenwood VR6050. So, not being a big audio person I am trying to figure out what to do.
It is close to 10 years old, I know. I had it hooked up before with no problems. Then we moved and it sat in my apt for 2.5 years and wasn't used. Now, we moved again and I hooked it up and nothing. The power light comes on and the other speakers work but there isn't anything else.
Is there a fuse or something to check? I opened it up some and didn't see anything not connected. I couldn't get into the actual box for some reason. (I took out like 12 screws or something) Is it worth running it to American to get it looked at? I suppose it couldn't hurt being that it was $400 back in the day.
