Ripping MY movie collection. Best playback options for ripped Blu rays!!

I Just finished building a simple Ubuntu HTPC. I am currently ripping my TV Shows that I have on DVD and I am playing them back in Boxee. I am using MakeMKV for this and it has worked pretty good so far on the DVDs. I plan on trying to rip my Blu rays using MakeMKV. From what I read, MakeMKV can rip 100% PQ and AQ from Blu rays. Once I have the MKV of the Blu ray, will boxee be able to play the file fine? or should I use another program for my Blu ray rips? My overall goal is to rip my Blu collection but I do not want to sacrifice PQ and AQ.

My current setup is:
EVGA 113-YW-E115-TR nForce 730i SLI and GeForce 9300 Intel 775 GPU Motherboard
2GB RAM
Core2Duo Processor.

I am currently running the HTPC to my yamaha RX-V565 receiver via HDMI.

Sorry. AFAIK, Boxee is using VDPAU now so it should play back your Blu-Ray MKV's just fine if you are using a VDPAU-capable nvidia VGA.
