D.T. Mike perhaps you or another owner of a CS-18.2 could start an owners thread here? I see there is one for the 18.1 but not for the 18.2.
Quaxtros, I think you're going to be very happy with your choice, I know it puts a smile on my face every time when I crank up the system on a movie. The tightness, control, depth, slam and power are all there! And with plenty reserve left. Just finished Pulse, and by the time the server room scene came up, I had the gain on the receiver at -5 db, with the amp at 4 of 10. It was hitting 107db with smooth musical sweeps, seemingly not a bit of distortion to my ears, and seemed to be ready to take on much more! WOTW on the other hand had a much more visceral power to it, and made you glance at the ceiling with thoughts of it caving in! The walls were flexing, and the recliner felt like it had bass shakers attached and going full kilt. The Dayton amp is silent, and always feels cooler than body heat.
I think someone will start an owners thread when the Series 2 comes out - and technically, it could be combined with the CS-18.T (Twins) unit, since both will have the same parts except for enclosure(s). Performance will be the same.
All I can say, is with this much performance for a surprisingly low price, I couldn't be more pleased! Exactly what I was hoping for, and more.
