Good presentation tonite on PBS featuring Sir Paul as the recipient of the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. Performers included Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello, Faith Hill, Jonas Bros. & Jack White.

As my wife said, "This was the songbook of our lives."

Just an incredible set of performances. This is indeed music that has stood and will continue to stand the test of time. Watch it if you can.

My wife and I enjoyed the show very much. Except that I would have paid a million dollars for Sir Paul to have got up on stage at the end and said "You know why I sang all those songs? So you don't have to".

It's been repeated many times since last night. I hope they release it on Bluray.

Me too, still waiting for the Bluray release of Sir Pauls concert last year at Citi Field NY.. I was there and anxiously waited for the BD release.. All we got was a regular dvd/cd of the concert.. Wonder why? It would have been a great Christmas present..

They've played this to death on my local HD-PBS station, while running the HD broadcasts of Marvin Hamlisch and Aretha Franklin on their subchannel.
