This sounds more like a concert movie in the style of the recent Hannah Montana/Jonas Brothers entries than a 'biopic' of any description.

Oh, and there's no need to apologise for the content of this article. You guys may think the project is 'pretty lame' and that Bieber is an 'ugly kid', but I doubt you're the target audience (!). His fans will lap this up, and why begrudge them this small pleasure just because you don't happen to dig the guy?

He's not my cup of tea, either, but I wouldn't fall over myself to report the news that he's starring in a 3-D film whilst simultaneously making sure everyone knows I'm 'cool' because I think he's 'ugly' and 'lame'...

Just another talentless kid that has millions in marketing behind him in order to sway kids/teens into buying his music. Just like what Disney keeps trying to do with every kid they can sink their claws into, but that's the business I guess.
