Plasma screen sensitivity?

How sensitive are plasma screens to the occasional poke by a childs finger? Are they particularly sensitive in that a few pokes might cause issues if consistently done to the same area?

Looking to upgrade TV size and considering my options. Yeah I know the kids should be taught not to poke/prod the TV. But sometimes the noodleheads forget things in their excitement.

Thanks

Those without coatings have a nice layer of glass that could be poked, by a finger or other skin covered appendage, all day long. Knives and stabbing weapons would be a bad idea though.

Are the Panny VT25s coated?

I believe so. Actually, I think most of the panasonics have it. I have an LG PK550 that does not. Its a great TV, but a light controlled environment is practically essential.

A G25/VT25 are much more fragile due to just one pane of glass. The S2 and below will be fine.
