The eGreat brand is sold on Amazon & eBay.
The U.S. dealer is http://mediaconceptusa.com/ located in San Francisco California and also sells on Amazon.
The A1080 is available only in China through eBay.

The S2, which is sold by MediaConceptUSA, uses the same chipset (SMP8643) as the A1080 so it's probably very similar.

Uses the same firmware, too.

The S2 looks very nice.
Plus it has internal SATA HD storage which the A1080 doesn't have.
This one looks like a winner!

You didn't look closely enough.
The A1080 can accomodate an internal 2.5 SATA HDD, the S2 takes a 3.5 HDD.
For what it's worth to some, the A1080 has a USB 3.0 port, which the S2 doesn't.

Sorry, I did mean the 3.5" SATA.
As far as capacity, I would think a 2.5" drive would be limiting.

Can anyone tell me where i find, firmware dune for this model S5 ?
Is it worth buying at this time ?

Do not have a problem with the remote control after flashing dune firmware ?

Well, support for the S5 (A1080) is still going stong! Latest firmware is 1224 and adds some interesting and useful options during playback when pressing the enter key - well worth getting a hold of. Still no working web browser which is a disappointment but in all honesty not really an issue.

Enjama kindly sought out and posted a link for the latest firmware, which can be found below. One point, this firmware has a bug whereby the IP of the device must be manually entered to allow connection to a network - no biggie.

I would have to say, the S5 (and its other clone variations) is an excellent media player/streamer. The bricking issue is easily overcome and instructions are available on the web (looks a lot harder to do than it actually is in practice).
