What soundbar should i use?

Ok I'm brand new to the forum, but I have been reading up on soundbars lately as I'm considering buying one. I'm going to try to provide enough so you guys can hopefully help me out.

I have a Panasonic Viera P42S2 that the sound bar is going to be used with. I have a PS3 that I also use as a BD player. The only other thing that I would need to have sound for is my 360, but that's not as important as the PS3.

The room it will be in is 12' by 16'.

I know the Sony CT's have the HDMI hookups, but that's not that important to me if I can still get everything to work, and have better sound, with something else. I've really liked what I've read, for the most part, about the new Vizio VHT210 and the JVC TH-BA1. The Sony CT150 is also something I'm considering. I don't really know if there is anything else out there that is worth checking out in the price range I'm looking at (under $300).

I'd like help with what soundbar would be the best with my setup, and also how to connect everything up to maximize the sound being produced. Also, I was wondering if I got a system with a wireless sub if that would provide interference with my internet at all.

Thanks all!

Three excellent choices for your setup. Based on your information, there may be caveats for two of the units mentioned.

The Vizio will only accept PCM via optical. I don't believe your Panasonic has analog outputs and I am not sure if you have an option to change all output to PCM. Check that first.

The Sony has one problem for me, the remote sensor is on the wired subwoofer. That requires the sub to be somewhere in the line of sight to control everything. If that does not present a problem, everything I read says the Sony sounds good. It seems there have been a few quality control issues over the last two or three years with Sony audio products, so keep that in mind.

The JVC would probably handle everything well right out of the box, plus has been rated very good to excellent by all that have heard it. This would be my first choice for a setup like yours.

The wireless subs should not pose a problem with your wireless home network. Either the sub or the wireless network should have settings to change the broadcast channel if you do encounter a problem.
