please help dlp wd-73837

my mitsubishi 73" dlp barely turned 1 yr 1 mth is displaying no picture at all.. when you turn it on all it does is displaythe blue light in front no picture the status light blinks turns to green no picture than turns red eventually nothing...

the model is a wd-73837 please tell me how messed up of a situation is this please,,, i tried everything reset and it doesnt work...

Your manual should tell you what the various light combinations mean.

the manual doesnt go into whatt he light variations mean, it may be a bad lamp, my question would be if it were a bad lamp would you get no picture and sound? I dont hear a fan either maybe the tv puts itself into safe mode or something when there is a bad lamp?

Hey...did you ever find out what happened...

I have one doing the same thing...

My first thought was a power supply problem...

Mitsubishi said to install firmware update to fix it...

First it already has the latest update...and secondly, I went ahead and tried, but TV doesn't even get far enough to start reading USB...

One last thing, I hear a faint click whe first hit the power button, the blue accent light under the screen breifly comes on and then nothing...
