Sharp LC-XXLE810UN vs. Sharp UN-88 series forcus?

Comparing these 2 60 inch tv's side by side. Yes I know, the quatro's yellow makes a difference. But that is not what I've noticed. The UN88 series seems fuzzy. Like its just a tad out of focus. Sales person dug out remote and we had both of them out of store mode, adjusted contrast, color saturation, sharpness. Turned off a bunch of the automatic light sensing stuff, etc. As best we could set them up to be the same.

The 810UN remained sharp and quite detailed. The 88UN stayed a tad fuzzy. Its a tad. Not like I need glasses. But clearly side by side the 88UN is fuzzy. Letters on text do not have crisp edges, etc.

Am I missing a setting, adjustment on the 88UN to bring its picture into the same kind of crispness as the 810UN?

Did you try switching the signal feeds to the televisions? The salesperson can tell you all day that they're getting the same signal, but they might not have been. That's all I can think of, other than the 88un is just a bit fuzzier in general.

Just back from second look. Salesman said it is the feed. Offered to hook up a blu-ray player so I could see for myself.

Blu-ray did look great. Still concerned about the cable in that looked just a tad fuzzy. Unless something falls apart today or tonight looks like I'll be getting the 88UN Friday.
