Star Trek TNG Seasons Remastered on Blu-Ray - Page 70

I emailed them on day one about replacements, they replied the next day and told me to email the number off one of the discs, I did so the same day, never heard from them again. Should I have? Because I still don't have the replacements. frown.gif

Call 877-DELUXE6 ( 877-335-8936 ) between 8am to 6pm Pacific, Monday-Friday and ask if they got your info.

Is there an easy way to distinguish the original disks from the replacement ones.   I put the old disks away, but I'd like to know just in case.

The new discs have a TNG Starfleet Delta next to the disc number.

I can confirm that there is some weird audio behavior around 9:10 in this episode when the words "enjoy what we have" are spoken. Just as with the other episodes, the dialog bleeds over to the front left/right channels. This is with the 7.1 track. With the stereo track, it just sounds like a momentary echo effect.

I finally got mine yesterday. I was one of those who called them. I'm planning to start checking them out this weekend. Can anyone who has received their replacements actually confirm that the "corrections" have in fact been made? Is all well at last?

I received my replacement discs today.
Just an FYI for those still waiting; I only sent them one email with all the info included, never did receive any confirmation that my email has been received, never made a phone call to Deluxe... Still got the discs! smile.gif

That's exactly what I did. I'll keep waiting [im]patiently for the replacements to arrive!

You know what else is nice about the card? It is the same size as the BD case. It fits snugly between the BD case and the slipcover. Very cool.

Worth the wait just for the card alone smile.gif

Just got mine today in Minnesota. I only sent in the e-mail.

Does the USA fixed set also have a new UPC barcode number like the UK fixed set? If so, do you (or anyone else) mind stating what it is? (The "bad" set's barcode number is 097361466040.) Thanks.

May I ask when you emailed them?
Received mine yesterday (Friday) - I'm in Colorado. Sent the email in a couple of days after the notice was posted.

Nitpicky...but with the announcement of Season 2 Blu-rays coming later this year, it would have been nice of them to throw in a coupon or something towards that purchase. Throw us die-hards who are buying this thing a bone "for our trouble". But I guess they figure we're going to buy them anyway...tongue.gif

Has anyone done a screenshot comparison of the Next Gen Sampler disc to the Season 1 set? Curious how the compression holds up (if indeed there is any marked difference).

Got mine yesterday, finally I can start devouring them!

yup, got it when it was $90.99 tongue.gif I'm still waiting for the season 1 replacement discs though frown.gif

By the time it's released, it'll be around the same price as season 1 was during its release week.
Replacement sets will hit stores in the next few weeks. They will have a red Delta symbol on the spine just as the UK replacement product did, so look out for that.
Still no sign of my replacement discs.
Apparently Deluxe isn't doing a good job of keeping track of who they are sending replacement disks out to as I got my second set of replacement disks today. I had contacted them twice: once by phone and once by email, but I made sure to mention in my email that I had already called and was just making sure my address was correct.

As of today 9/10/12, I still haven't received the replacement discs. See my previous post above. Should I be worried or is anyone else with the same situation as I am?

Did you guys wear your Starfleet uniforms while contacting them?

They have to know you're a real fan or they won't take you seriously...

When you call, you have to say, "on Stardate 7242012, I purchased this set..." wink.gif

I got mine yesterday.

I got mine a week or two ago here in Ireland, from amazon.co.uk

The Star Trek Insignia is the main difference

Thanks for that, Irish-Toffee. You prompted me to look at my US replacement discs. They also have the delta symbol, but to the left of "Disc One" etc. whereas the original discs don't have the delta.
