Anyone own one of these or have an opinion on it? I'm looking for a tv for the kitchen and Target has it on sale for $159.

Sylvania... seriously?

We're not supposed to discuss price on this forum, but since you did, if a 19" 3rd tier TV is what you want, then go for it. However, there are many better brands on the market, but probably none for $159.

None: I just saw the ad and for an additional $17 you can get a 2-year replacement plan. That in itself might make it worth a shot if that's the size you want for a kitchen TV.

DON"T BUY THIS TV. I have one, and right after the year warrenty was up, the tv to longer and longer to turn on each time. I'm told by Sylvania that this will keep getting worse till it won't turn on at all. I've talked to tech support about 8 times and they say this is real common problem with Sylvania, especially this model. and guess what per customer service "TOO BAD THE YEAR WARRENTY IS UP." I even tried to get them the on/off switch to me so I could do it myself, they refused. The TV repair store says this is common with Sylvania, and repair start's at $80, and goes up from there. So if your looking for a tv that you only should expect to last a year (From talking to Sylvainia, that all their aware the tv lasts, zero help from their customer service). Stay away from SYLVANIA.
