I have yet to find a place to actually download the Yadis software that works. The few times I tried it crashed my computer and or the instructions were in French. Can you point me in the direction of a link? The last time I tried was from MPC Club website.

Sure... here you go... http://www.mediafire.com/?6i66avohuqw3dmw

You will need the newest FW for your dune player for the software to work correctly.

I understand what your are saying... but doesn't the article "A" technically come before "B"?

Thanks! I'm running the newest Beta. Should I be using the latest stable instead? I guess I should mention I'm using a Base 3.0 model as well.

Cool, sounds like a weekend project perhaps. By the way, I love your signature. I miss that show.

Not a problem : yadis is able to use a sorting title, not like mymovies it can remove automatically a, the,...if you want or you can set the sorting title manually.

The same data will have to be manually entered if ISO format is used with these programs

but strangely enough Zappiti and yaDIS can both read the tech data of DVD ISOs... but not BD ISOs.

I highly recommend yaDIS!

The problem isn't from yadis or zappiti, it's Mediainfo which is not able to read from BR iso...

for those interested in converting BD ISOs to BD Folders.... Easily!

I found this to work quite well.

Download winRAR : http://www.win-rar.com/download.html

Open WinRAR and navigate to your movie folder:

Select all movie folders and Extract to the specified folder:

Select the following options and in the "General" and "Advanced" tabs and click OK:

Yadis offers you complete control over how you want your movies to be listed alphabetically (regardless of the movie file name on your hard drive.)

EDIT: I see Mr Eric beat me to it

Great, Thxs.... Do you recommend uninstalling old version first?
Not needed, just install the new one over the old one.

I have only two problems with yaDIS... and one is my doing.

1. No way to get accurate audio codec mediainfo for TV Shows in BD.ISO or BD Folder Structure.

2. No Custom Posters or Fanart for Movie Sagas: But I found a work around for this: http://www.mpcclub.com/forum/showpos...68&postcount=4 but I am confident that this will be fixed in an upcoming release.

My feature request would be that we could search our catalogs by MPAA rating as opposed to TMDB ratings.
I love yaDIS too, the D1 is worth every euro just because of yadis. And yes, there is an option of ignoring the articles when sorting

1. As I said, this is a known problem with Mediainfo.dll, nothing to do with yadis unfortunately.
2. Yes it's planned in the next version (but Fred is very busy at this moment and we don't know when he start to work on it)

is it me or does yadis not have a way to show you new movies...

every other jukebox has a view where I can see the latest movies I added to my library sorted on modified date or date added to library.

the new movies section on YADIS shows me the last 30 days of movies (all of them in alphabetical order).

How does one get yadis to show sort movies by date added to library or preferable modification date/time of the movie itself?

There are tons of other programs. Coming from Ember media manager YADIS is like 5+ years behind in features. All the tools for Dune seem to be behind PCH tools which are behind XBMC and MCE tools. Ember even has way more features than MyMovies which seems to be the richest of the dune solutions.

I like YADIS but like MyMOvies more. Just not sure I want to spend $100 on it.

Zappiti had this feature as well... did you try adjusting the amount of days in the recently added section?

I look forward to the MPAA search option... but as far as not Mediainfo not being able to read the tech data of TV shows... I understand that it can't read the data of BD.ISOs... but it can for BD Folders. It appears that yaDIS doesn't allow BD Folders for individual TV Show Episodes.. Am I correct or did I miss something?

Thanks for the updates and info?
In yaDIS one of the search options is "recently added" indeed. What I cannot tell you is how long is "recent" for yaDIS as my Dune is 10 days old so I see all movies under recently added

If you scroll down a bit after this , you will also be able to chose if you want your recently added movies to be sorted alphabetically or by date

I'm running the previous stable firmware because of the bitstreaming feature, but I'd like to try yadis. Why was it mentioned that you need the latest firmware for it to run correctly?

What am I missing here? Don't all firmwares allow for bitstreaming?

bit streaming is working fine for me on the current production firmware. Have even watched two 7.1 movies one TrueHD and One DTS-MA.

Yadis is running fine too....

maybe they are talking about this decoding to PCM feature removal issue?

Yadis is using virtual items that were introduced in firmware 110923. You will need a firmware after this one to use it.

Re. "bitstream problems" I'm not aware about any or may be like Sean said, you're speaking about the PCM downmix problems...
