Best way to acquire Coraline and/or Ice Age 3?

Hey All,

I'm new to the 3D Blu-Ray world, and so far have "Cloudy," "MvA" and "Grand Canyon" is on it's way.

I'd love to get my hands on Ice Age 3 and Coraline however as you know those are exclusive titles.

Ebay has these combined for over $200....insane. Good ole supply and demand.

I already have the Mits starter pack which included the Disney demo, so I don't need to purchase any of the starters or TV bundles.

So...anyone have any other tricks for picking up these titles?

Or are any of you selling used copies of the above?

Sincere Regards,

robfern

You have to either wait till they go up for retail or pay the ebay high prices. People know they can get the high prices so they are. I don't blame them, I would too.

Such is the plight of the early adopter; those of us who like to enjoy new tech when it is really new also get burned by an initial lack of content.

Personally, I'd wait for the titles to be released commercially or for the eBay feeding frenzy to die away. Things will get better by the holiday shopping season and as more people start buying 3D TVs and more copies of all these discs get in the pipeline things will get better. You can already see this happening with Monsters vs. Aliens 3D, which isn't moving at all on Ebay. The same will happen with other titles as well.

In the meantime, check out some 3D clips from the web or some 3D games (which are more plentiful if you happen to own a PS3).

i cant beleave Ice Age & Coraline exclusive pack is going for $195 > $299 on ebay...it's only $64.99 at Future Shop in canada, if your close to the boarder have a look.
actually if there are 5 orders @ $80+ dollars ill personaly buy you guys them and shipp em...

so theres 14% tax here in Ontario, so add that to $64.99 + 5.00 shipping.
Is that $64.99 for each one or for both? I'm assuming it's for each one...

i will see how many are in stock tommorrow.

I'm just trying to spread the love/help. no profit intended.

Actually their site lists both for $99.99 CAD and Ontario's tax is called the HST and it's 13% not sure if it will even let you order them still but it did say they were in stock when I checked just now but when I tried to order them their site went down, will give it another shot in the morning.

Just got my e-mail from Futureshop saying they are ready to pick up, and checked all of the stores in my area and it shows online that they are available so you shouldn't have a hard time getting 5 of these bundles, so hopefully shayking can help all of you out and they were charging $100 cdn for two of them.

Thank you for trying. We appreciate it. Not many people would even go to the store to look for 5 guys he didn't know.

Not to be a dick but I hate when people in this world screw around with other's emotions, we all want 3D content to watch but don't try and say you can get these for guys and then say sorry I tried but they are out of stock or have no clue and leave it at that. Is shayking even located in Canada cause you got our tax rate wrong until I corrected you on it and then you tell everyone they are sold out when they aren't. I just bought my bundle from Future Shop today and just did an online search using the link I found at Future Shop for this bundle and out of over 20 stores in the GTA area only 4 or 5 were out of stock. Here is a few pics to back up my rant lol. Also watch out for another member by the name of Cornell.N says one thing then says another.

Well you can always buy a BD burner for $100 and download the full ISO's from the newsgroups.

Where are these ISOs and newsgroups at? I've searched and can't find them. For one thing, I tried searching in the Google groups...can someone please provide a link to these ISOs?

I didn't put the offer out to those members but thought I would help you out and did an online search of Future Shop's stock in your area and guess what?, there's one in Chatham located in Pioneer Square, 802 St. Claire street that says they have some in stock, so guess you can fulfill a few of those PM's now.

link please?...
Futureshop's Online status is always inaccurate here in Ctown.

anyways, they weren't "physically" there on the shelves, and i talked to 3 different employess , in which they where scrambling to look for some .(in the back/database etc).

this was intended for simple cross sale. but it didnt work out. I cant "make" them sell me somthing they dont have.

goodday.

The set is back to $100 at Future Shop. I purchased one at my local store and it took them forever to locate it. Apparently it was in some lockup in the back and they said it was the only copy they had.

Say what you will, but my plan is to do some screenshot comparisons with the 2D versions and then try my hand at eBay.

It's really strange that they're selling these, considering both discs/cases have multiple messages plastered all over them about how these are Panasonic exclusives and are not for sale. I searched for the movie pack's UPC online (064547854243) and the internet doesn't believe it exists.

Anyway, if you've got a Canadian address and $100 + $5 GST + whatever provincial tax to throw down, their website claims to have stock...

If anyone can obtain one and ship it the USA, please send me a PM. I would love to get these. Thanks.
Sounds like you could have made some money...
Have been doing a lot of hours at work but got a sec to post the Future Shop link to get the Panasonic movie bundle, if you live in Canada you should have no problem ordering these online and then having them ship to you or do a store pick up. Sorry I can't help out our American brothers but I don't think Future Shop ships to the States. Let me know if works.

I got the double pack from a Cannuckian ebayer. don't understand why so many folks are bellyachin about spending $4000 on 3dtvs and ~not having anything to watch~. well, people with questionable logic and spending habits, there's actually a decent amount of content available in the $50-100/title range, which, compared to $4000 for a tv is a pittance, and compared to $30-40/title retail, isn't particularly outrapeous. stop the whinings and get thee to ebay. or ring up a Cannuckian friend and have said person mail you the goods.
