Greetings!
I have attached a Hitachi SATA Deskstar 1tb external hard drive to an
SA8300HDC. It loads and formats properly. It records. But the recording
pixelates during playback for about a half second every couple of minutes.
That makes the playback unacceptable.
I've tried three different external hard drives and now have tried a second
SA8300HDC. With the same result.
Surewest, my cable TV provider, has absolutely no clue. Cisco who has
bought out Scientific Atlanta is of no service help at all. They just refer
me back to the cable TV provider.
Anybody had this problem and can tell me how to overcome it?
