Calibration Tune Up

A couple days ago Doug Weil (aka DroptheRemote) of Clearly Resolved Image & Sound, Lion AV Consultants, performed an ISF calibration tune up on my Pioneer Elite PRO-111FD. I was surprised at how much my TV had drifted away from the initial calibration specs 15 months ago.

If anyone is unsure about whether a calibration tune up is necessary, I can testify that it is.

I was noticing that my picture did not seem quite as bright as it used to (it had been almost two years since my last calibration tuneup) so I recently had Doug Weil perform another tuneup. The result is a significant improvement -- my Kuro is now back to like it was when new.

I recommend calibration tuneups and I highly recommend using Doug.
