Sony Refresh Rates Question

Hello,
I'm looking at a couple of Sony lcd's and was wondering about the refresh rate.
Is there a noticeable difference between 120Hz, 240Hz, and pro 240Hz.

From tests I have seen, there is a worthwhile difference in motion blur reduction going from the 120 Hz Hz to 240 Hz, but there isn't much room for improvement going from 240 hz to pro 240 Hz. Some brands will have 480 Hz frame rate, but I haven't seen enough to have an informed opinion on motion blur reduction and 480 Hz. I think 480 may be more for 3D, with each eye getting 240 Hz.
