Given its ratings, that's a long shot at best. Still it's on The CW, so who knows. My wife and I both like it a lot and hope it gets renewed. I really liked the almost complete change from last year to this year, and now they have done it again. This show is really much better than the ratings would suggest.

Don't know why this show doesn't draw better. I find it a pretty enjoyable hour - good, escapist fun.

GREAT! This is my favorite action show. Fast action, beautiful eye candy and great looking 1080i HD, what more can one ask for
Either tonight or next week will be the season finale and if it's anything like last season we'll be in for a wild ride Heck the last show before the holiday hiatus is better than most shows season finale.

All my low-rated favorites are coming back (Community, Fringe [briefly], Nikita).

I saw it finally got renewed: whoooooooohoooooooo!!!!! I love this show! The wait was as suspensful as an episode of Nikita!

Wow, part 1 of the season finale was great, can't wait for pt.2 next week. Percy is one bad a*s!

Xander Berkley does a great job of projecting Percy's creepiness but does it in a way that is entertaining and funny. The show is a guilty pleasure but I get a kick out of it and am glad it got renewed. I laugh when I see one of the girls, neither of whom can weigh much more that 100 pounds soaking wet, beats down a 6'2", 225 pound assassin. It's silly but it's fun.

I understand there more to Ms. Q than one might suspect ... the average person, regardless of gender, probably would want to mess with her.

Oh, yeah, I love Maggie Q, too. As preposterous as what she does on the show is, it is nevertheless great fun.

So challenge her to a match and see what happens.

Nice!

Good news for Nikita and Fringe.... can my heart take it?

Oh wait- 2012's the end of the world, so guess we'll never get to see the new seasons of both shows- drats!

That didn't keep me from watching Dark Angel back in the day

The chemistry between the cast is just perfect. Very thankful for another season.

I'm thankful that they put him back in the lead; Amanda wasn't nearly as effective.

I'm already looking forward to the third season, especially since this is the only show with mediocre ratings I watch that got renewed.

The ratings and new interest from the audience would be greater, if Nikita was pushed back into a Thursday slot. Friday & Saturday primetime shows get the worst ratings, of the entire week.

I'm sure realization of tht played a part in its being renewed (that and Fringe too). Ringer wasn't on Fridays, and it got absymal ratings, and was quite enjoyable (in my opinion).

Nikita has been a great ride, and I was fully expecting it to be cancelled, and was SO glad when it was renewed. Considering how many people are active on "TEAM NIKITA" now, she has her own mini division, or maybe anti-division. I have looked forward to it every week.

In Nikita's case, this is probably a blessing. Fridays are also the least-competitive day of the work week, and since ratings for Friday shows are always low, networks give those shows more rope than the ones that air Monday - Thursday. Once a network finds a show that provides semi-decent ratings on a Friday, they're less likely to cancel it, because mediocrity is the best they can hope for, anyway. There's a better chance for them to get viewers on Friday with a well-established show than if they try to start something new on that day.

Moving to Fridays at 9 after Top Model.

I guess I'm the one dissenting voice on these last couple of episodes. I like the show generally, but just found the whole premise of them in the White House personally conferring with the President, who is unable to stop Division, etc...

I had a feeling that plot line was developed mid season before they got renewed and meant to be a wind up just in case.

^^
agreed

I've been with this show from ep 1, enjoy it thoroughly but the last plot angle is pushing the far limits of creditability even for Nikita as escapist action fare.

too much like a Bond film with Percy as the new Blofeld blackmailing the US with a nuke

or 24

kind of indicates the show may be running out of steam

I wouldn't go that far. I think they just got caught in a Stargate SG-1 trap. "Well, we're definitely going to get cancelled after this season, so we need a really big finale!" -> renewal announcement -> "Uh oh, now what are we going to do next season?"

I'm guessing they introduced the whole "secret society" aspect as way to keep the show going, just in case. Even if Division gets taken down in tomorrow's finale, Percy will just get his foot in the door with the new sinister group, and the show will continue from there. This season's finale is pretty ridiculous, but I'm glad they were trying to do something as a big send off, just in case. I'm even more pleased that it turned out to be unnecessary, so I won't hold it against the writers that it looks a little silly as only a season finale.
Loved the two agents in the farmhouse and their insane loyalty to Division. But you'd think Percy would have had a little more security out there. Maybe a camera or two.

I overlook all that stuff because it's just pure escapist fun and aims for nothing more. Glad they got renewed; hope it doesn't mean more budget cuts.

What happened to Amanda?
It is the same thing that happened to Chuck the last few years. They really made 4 potential series finales, but the network kept picking up the back nine and then adding another year. I would imagine this type of things is very difficult from a creative standpoint. They want a quasi-ending out of respect for the fans, but try to leave an opening for the next season, just in case. Problem is, every time they do this it usually ends up changing the show in a substantial way, sometimes good, sometimes no so much.

She's still hiding from Division and Gogol with Ari. The writers left an opening for both characters to return, but there have been no indications of when that will happen thus far.
Very surprised there has been no posts on the season finale.

This finale really opened the door for next season as Nikita might take on a whole new direction.

Will definitely be watching as this show is one my favorite guilty pleasures!
I watched it and it was great! I'll really miss Percy though, IMO he was the best villain on TV
Regardless I'll be back next season, great guilty pleasure.
