Home Theater Speaker Questions and Setup

Hey everyone,

I'm looking at investing in a new home theater system. All the components are going to be hand picked, NO HTIB's here!

That being said, what i have decided on so far is the following:

Onkyo tx-nr708 (7.2 ch receiver, 110w a channel, and 7 hdmi in)
Fronts: klipsch wf-35 speakers
center: wc-24
rears: ???

I am open to suggestions on all these components however I am on a budget! I heard the klipsch speakers well after they had been broken in and enjoyed their sound, although I have seen reviews stating the reference sound much better. That being said I found the wf-35's for 222each which seemed like a great deal.

I need some suggestions for my rear speakers and some thoughts on the receiver and fronts. Anything is appreciated!

Being on a budget and maximizing your gains is a tricky deal. I've found a great solution for myself although I've gotten some haters rip on me for my speaker choice, sure, I'd love the B&W 900 series but just don't have a few K's laying around right now.

What I've ended up with is by far a tremendous choice. I had considered the 707 version of your 708 but ended up with the 807. Onkyo also sales the SKS-HT870, a 7.1 130watt speaker system with a modest 290watt sub. If you cruise the authorized Internet dealers for this product, you'll find this system for less than $300, heck of a deal.

I also picked up the sub from the Energy Take classic set from Costco for $99.

Got myself a 7.2 set up in my bedroom that sounds ohhhh sooo nice, and the savings????? Priceless.
