The banding really is pretty rough. Sometime I actually could make out the boxes for the local dimming zones. That is a great price, but for the same or less money I'd rather have the LHX.

Right, I seriously doubt it'll be $10k. It might start out there, but no way will it stay there. I mean, look at what happened with the LX8500 and LX9500 and extrapolate from there. That's my guess, anyway. The issue for me is we still have to see if its real-world performance is in fact as good as the current internet buzz suggests. Hurry up, CES!!
