DIY Equipment rack

Hey everyone I just recently bit the bullet and am going to put together an outdoor theater setup. I plan to build an equipment rack/projector stand and was hoping someone else may have already did something similar. I am just looking for ideas (pictures) on what others have done. My planned dimensions are 2 1/2' wide by 2' deep by 6' tall. I also plan to enclose it, keep it light as possible and make it portable.

Why do you desire such a robust set-up?

The Home Depot plastic shelving I used works so well and seems to fit your criteria:
-2' deep 6' tall
-portable
-light

PJ is on 2nd top shelf, PS3 on mid shelf, heavy amp on 2nd bottom shelf.

Thanks for the reply. I have seen your setup over at the backyard theater forums very nice place you have there. As for the rack stand I want I did consider the shelving unit but have already recieved a bit of critcism for the messy look that it may bring. I figured an enclosed solution would be better. This is still all the planning stage and could change.

I built one many years ago (no pix , sorry) using 1/2 and 3/4 plywood and the unit was large enough to store the 2 speakers, amp, VCR, cassette player (for intermission music) and cables inside the unit for easy transport and neat storage. The extra weight kept the projector quite steady. I even incorporated wireless control for the outdoor lights. I used 6" pneumatic tires for an easy roll across grass or pavement. I fitted the unit with a 20A twistlock power connector to an outlet strip with a 50 ft cable.

I sold it to a neighbor when he bought a vacation home for more than the parts cost.
