Cooling options for Onkyo HT RC180

Thread Starter
I am looking for some good cooling options for this receiver. I would like to mount my Outlaw receiver either on top of or underneath it. The 180 does not have a switched outlet so I'd like something that would turn on and off with the receiver if possable. Please give me as much information on where to buy, how much to pay, and how to install it, again, if you can.
All suggestions and opinions are appreciated

I'm using a CG Comcool cooling stand kit (Large size #120-2L-K) that I ordered from coolerguys.com, placed on top of my Integra DTR-80.1 AVR. This cooler has twin 120mm fans and keeps the 80.1 at a nice comfortable temperature when positioned over its top rear vents and configured to pull the hot air out of the AVR and exhaust it out into my open equipment cabinet. It was on sale for $62.95 + shipping when I ordered it at the end of June.

I have it plugged into a smart strip so that whenever the AVR is turned on the cooler also runs and automatically shuts down as soon as I switch the AVR to the standbye mode.

Smart strips are pretty cool. I use them with cooling fans I install in sealed up cabinets. Set the sensitivity and you are all set.

What's the deal with the switched outlets, it use to be a no brained, hook up the fan and you were done.....not anymore

Where did they go ??
