Ok so I was looking on my PS3 trying to make sure all settings will be optimized for my Samsung ln46c750 tv. I am going to list the options that I have no clue what to do with and would appreciate it if you guys could give me suggestions!
Cross Color Reduction filter on/off
RGB Full Range (HDMI) full/limited
Y PB/Cb Pr/Cr Superwhite HDMI: On / Off
Deep Color ouput HDMI: Auto/off
In Video Settings: BD/DVD video output format HDMI : Auto/RGB/ Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr
BD 1080P 24Hz Output HDMI: Auto/On/Off
Dynamic Range Control: Auto/On/Off
Audio Output Format: Bitsream Linear PCM ( will give HT model number below)
BD Audio Output Format Optical (I use optical) Bitstream Mix/Bitstream Direct/ Linear PCM
For a home theater I just use a budget Sony DAV-HDX277WC
And I have these options when outputting over optical can select multiple:
Dolby 5.1 Ch
DTS 5.1ch
AAC
LinearPCM 2ch 44.1khz (checked and greyed out)
LinearPCM 2ch 88.2 khz
LinearPCM 2ch 176.4 khz
linearPCM 2ch 48khz (checked and greyed out)
I know this is alot to ask but I am not sure of this stuff and you guys are experts! I want to make sure I am getting the best possible experience! Iam usign HDMI for video and Optical for audio since the TV won't pass the 5.1 to my HT over optical
