Hi,
I just got the LE-40C750 from Samsung. Now I would like to ask for recommendations how to solve this problem:
- allow to record and play TV
- allow to play movies from files like MKV
Now the Samsung supports DLNA and plays from USB, however DLNA seems to lack some features like subtitle support from SRT files, where as USB supports this. However, USB seems to require the device to be formatted by the samsung TV to record and play TV data.
As such, the obvious question: Do I really need 2 different devices to solve this? 1 for recording/playing TV and one for playing movie files?
Also, I would like the drive that plays movie files to be attached to the network. Is there some recommended devices that support both USB connectivity as well as network?
Thanks in advance,
Ben
