But I have to ask cause you guys keep asking about a second one.
This is a prototype LMS driver, the specs I got read different from any of the other 15" TC drivers I can find. Can I use any other LMS driver along with it? Or does it need to be this exact same driver/specs to work proper? I've seen a few LMS driver floating around but not this exact same one.

If Im driving to Canada over christmas I will get another driver for you saving some of those import costs.

Thanks, not a hockey player or fan actually.

Thanks Pen I might just take you up on that if you make it back up here to frozen North.

most drivers will work in that size, but if you want a model, post the thiele/small parameters. somebody will kick out the results.

bump. it looks like imageshack killed all your pics. wtf. :-(
post #96 of 108
Thanx a boat load for the bump, L.

As I explained to you in PM, I had wanted to offer mega props to this build, figuring it would be around the front page a while, then I couldn't find it.

Now that it's been located for me and bumped... it's simply awesome work, and I didn't want that to go unsaid. As a guy who has always put everything into every DIY project, I have some idea what it took to get this sub to it's final fit and finish.

I actually pulled 2 of the images to print, but I trashed the images and recently emptied the trash, so I don't have any digital copies... bummer.

Maybe ClintonH will see this and be kind enough to post a couple of pics?

In any case, thanx again L, you da man, and a giant tip o' the hat to the build. Superb work.

np bosso. mine was the easy task (10-15mins), hardly even worth noting. we both know clintonh deserves all props around here, as his was one of the best looking builds that we've seen (and i gave it highest props in the master index of subwoofer builds, which i maintain humbly as best that i can). hopefully, we can get a couple of pics hosted at avs so they won't get blown out by imageshack again.

I would love to see the pics that have vanished.
