"The Walking Dead" on AMC HD - Page 57

What's funny about that is that it was way out of character for her - she's been struggling with Carl, Rick, and Shane all along but was never as bat-**** crazy as when she went on that run.

Well ok, there was the pill incident too, but I was willing to give a pass for that one.

Well, it is in character if you accept she acts impulsively without thinking things through. We know she is married to a strong willed man and has always followed his lead. When she thought she had lost him she quickly attached herself to another strong willed man and let herself be dominated by him. When her husband returned she quickly returned to her orbit around him...She has always been defined by the male in her life and has shown she doesn't think too clearly for herself. So at a time of crisis its not too surprising that she would feel compelled to run to Rick to tell her what to do. Stupid yes, but not out of character.

And while pregnant. Don't forget that part. If you have a kid you know how your wife/gf was while pregnant. it's a wild roller coaster ride.

LOL - good point. With that said, and as horrible as this sounds, if the baby doesn't make it through the accident at least they could leave the farm, which I'm so ready for (been ready for like 5 or 6 episodes).

They'd better not turn what CDC scientist said to Rick into some lame cop-out. Weren't there theories that they're all infected, but the virus is dormant unless you get bitten or die? So if you'd die from natural causes (or gun shot wounds anywhere but the head) you'd turn into a walker anyway. Has anyone died from non-head wounds yet? Hmm...

I'm not buying that the girl is in shock either. People in shock you are supposed to keep warm, but they have her on the bed running a fever, or at least sweating and they are trying to cool her down.

Or to show Hershel he can be one bad son of a b. and keeping him nearby can only help his family as there are others out there who are worse then rick and his group.

if you watch again rick was actually checking his mirrors while driving...like there would be any traffic to necesitate that..

I think he shot them in the head because the doc told him everyone will come back...i guess we have to wait another 1.5 episodes to have the glenn and rick "why did you do that:" convo for it to be revealed...

So... he carries a gun and shoots people that seem shifty in real life too?

I recorded the marathon on AMC last weekend and I'm about halfway thru the second season. Shane just tossed Otis under the proverbial bus. I should be all caught up by the weekend. It seems I'm always playing catch-up on my tv shows.

^I thought it was hilarious, I was waiting for it to go off...

Yeah, but it's off to the one side....so it would likely only deafen him and blow off half his face.

He could then go undercover to infiltrate the vast walker underground network and destroy them from within...

They could bill it as "The Wire: Dead Line".

Even if it got him full on, Hershel could fix him. He'd be up and around, wanting to make Taco Bell runs within a day or two.

at least he is lookin at the road while driving this time.

Finally got all caught up in the series last night. It's gonna suck waiting a week between shows. Suppose it gives me a chance to catch up on my BSG now.

Those two in the bar had it coming. Besides, I like "walkers" better than "laimbrains" anyway.

I believe Rick's "survival instinct" is just as strong as Shane's (he's proven that in the last few episodes by killing Sophia, the guys in the bar, and the friends of the guys in the bar). It would seem that Lori's "survival instinct" grew by leaps and bounds in tonight's episode; her message to Rick was pretty blunt, "Shane needs to go!"

It's getting REALLY interesting now!

Awesome episode...finally!

That steely look by Rick when Lori was basically saying Shane has to go was priceless. Next weeks episode looks to be intense too.
