"The Walking Dead" on AMC HD - Page 59

Thought it was a great episode. Also contained a great shot (that I can't believe nobody has mentioned) during the beginning with the walker trying to shove his face into the windshield. They cut to a side shot and the glass is literally peeling the skin away from his face as he shoves his head through the glass.

Was gruesome...even for this show.

Yes that was a great shot. He was literally shoving his skin off to get in that car.

At one point Hershal made it a point to make sure they closed the main gate.

First thing I would do if I lived on the farm would be to build a bigger fence and maybe dig a deep moat.

The walker in the well could of been anything, a stray zombie that was on the property when it all went down. Someone they brought back to the farm from Ottis that got away and ended up in the well. A faimly member, etc. etc.

As everyone else has pointed out, they mentioned the fence, haven't seen it yet, but they did make a point of making sure the gate was closed because of the walkers.

I noticed that too. It reminded me of how detailed the zombies were in the first season.

Wait. We are complaining about there not being enough zombies laying siege to the farm? It is a farm. Usually they are not within reasonable walking distance to populated areas. From the few scenes in the town I wouldn't think that was densely populated either.

There is a fence around the farm too, though it doesn't look like it hold much back.

And let me add to that list "Hell On Wheels."

Looks like there's some marshy areas as well outside the fences, as evidenced by the walkers becoming trapped.

That's retarded... I fence keeps them out yet a walker will rip his face off through glass to get at person? LOL...

No it's not at all. She's right there less then 2 feet from him.

That fence is a long way from the farm house itself. Without a scent or gunfire to draw them, the walkers have no idea they are there.

I agree with those saying losing Shane would be terrible and he has actually caused me to *gasp* like Lori LOL and that's saying alot since I haven't liked her at all but now actually feel sorry for her- go figure !!
But considering what Shane has done to Otis and other things he needs to go eventually because I do not see how TPTB can contunue keeping him alive on the series without repercussions ( sp?) !!
But Rick rocks :-) and Daryl and Carol are becoming quite compelling and interesting to watch ..

We need some more Daryl.

The other night I could not help thinking about Daryl's uncle .. ?? I think it was his uncle .. the guy that had to cut his hand off to escape the rooftop ... ??

If merle somehow survived that predicament you really have to "hand" it to him.

We don't know if he survived or not. I always thought that Merle had unleashed the herd of Walkers at the reservoir and then again on the road. He took Ricks truck and was/is hell bent on vengeance. What better way to get back at the group who left him for dead? Round up a herd of Walkers into that truck and stalk the group.

They did bring him back....when Daryl was having *visions* of him after his big fall down the hill (if memory serves me right, that is). That was quite a few episodes ago though.

I too wish they would REALLY bring him back. It would be great to see him and Daryl team up together to kick some zombie butt!

dont forget the moat/quicksand around herschels land as well....cant see how that place would get over run..im sure someone will leave the gate open by accident...

What will be a higher # of episodes total:

a) the # of eps it took to "find" sophia.

b) the # of eps it takes to find out whats really up with "shock" girl.

i think she is going to wake up (dead) while her bf is sleepin in the room w her...take him out..then take out otis's girl...and then maggie or herschel have to kill her...

hopefully in a shorter length of time it took to find sophia

Or she gets taken out by Shane, who gets bit during the struggle...could be amusing to see how that changes his attitude towards everyone else being "softies"

Caught up on the last two eps. I can't have been the only one rooting for the zombie to get Lori.

I was also rooting for the zombie to get Lori... strange isn't it? or maybe there are quita a few anti-Lori fans here..
