Its the only thing about the show that I haven't liked and I just wish they would drop the whole storyline. The rest of the show is fascinating so I'm still going to watch.
Kinda agree, it's why I though Eps 1 and 3 where better. 2 just felt like they scripted too much to happen in a set way that it felt like it was scripted. 16 bullets, 16 headshots. Some weird dialogue, and forced humor. A key down a drain pipe? I mean really, I think I've ever only seen it as a plot device in a work of fiction. Does that ever happen in real life?
They would have been better figuring out a way to lose it while scouring the sewers, or just turning the black guy into another mixed character and have him just leave. Still, having a scouting / survival party with one unhinged member has always been a staple of zombie lore. Hopefully they added him because of that, with the idea to expand on whats been done before.
Still, can't really complain. They're doing more right then wrong, and the only other cable drama (HBO does it regularly with series) that's come close form me has been BSG and Rescue Me. Most other stuff seems over acted or impossibly scripted, which turns me off.
