No, we saw the whole thing I believe. No rape, just humiliation - probably just as or more satisfying to a sociopath like the Governor.

I believe the Governor even had a look like he was surprised and disappointed with himself. It's a far cry from the comics and what he did to Michonne.

Edit: silly predictive text

I believe even Maggie told Glenn the same when they were in the same room later ..

When are these guys going to get some walkies to communicate with when they are separated .. ?? And who's keeping Rick's hair styled .. ?? wink.gif

Rick is running on fumes, he's so paranoid he can't think straight .. not only imagining magically talking telephones, but now apparitions ..

Glenn stomping the Walkers head in was classic .. biggrin.gif

I was one of the posters who previously argued that Maggie wasn't raped by the Gov, but when they were standing in the road and debating whether to take Merle back, Glenn had a line about a "rapist," but I was unsure if he was referring the Merle or the Gov. I thought he implied that Maggie was raped. However, we're splitting hairs here. The Gov did violate Maggie, whether it was rape or not.

I too felt like they hinted toward full on rape in Sunday's episode. Prior to that episode I would have said he humiliated her; perhaps groped her. Now it seems they're playing the rape angle. Either way, she was sexually abused and the gov (and maybe Merle) will pay dearly.

I agree that in this week's show the writers strongly implied that Maggie may, indeed, have been raped. The bottom line, though, is that we don't know whether or not Maggie was really raped and probably never will.

Short story : I once punched a dude for sitting to close to my gal in the NYC subway, well he did a little more than sit too close to get his head knocked. My point is that's my gal, and I wasn't going to let a strange be rude to my baby I can only imagine what Glen and Maggie are going through. Most guys take these things quite hard, when I'm sure it's light years worth for the violetee. So rape, humiliation, the dude is going to take it rough.

I can see how the dialog seemed to hint at Maggie being physically violated by the Gov now that I've done a second watch .. although in the original scene before the season break, it seemed more like the Gov wanted her to think that's what he was going to do .. either way, certainly traumatic ..

Maggie did tell Glenn he did not physically violate her .. which could be just to keep Glenn from coming unglued at that time ..

It's also possible that it did occur and the rest of this season may have a revenge driven plot if Glenn finds out ..

At any rate, as Djoel states, Glenn will be out for some sort of payback ..

- I thought he was referring to Merle as a "racist".

+1! Whether or not the actual act of rape was committed, what the Governor did to Maggie was an assault.

That was a really great episode...

The Gov. is sadistic....

Things never ever get too predictable.
Awesome episode! Now we can end the "was Maggie raped" nonsense...

That secondary character's death was a bit unexpected (for those who haven't seen it yet. Poor guy). Like this episode.

This episode was definitely better than last weeks IMO. The intensity is building!

Whenever a background character suddenly gets more dialog in one episode than they have all season, it's usually a clue they'll be dead by the end of the episode.

Maybe Rick will get his head out of his ass now.

Caught me off guard for sure. Poor Axel was about to tell what I'm sure was a very amusing story.

I loved the dialog when Rick was talking to Hershel. Rick's all like "I got stuff out here.....stuff".....biggrin.gif
Also the walker death by car trunk was pretty sick.
When they showed Carl holding the gun after "that scene" happened, I assumed it just went off somehow and that's what caused the death.

So who was the one wearing the riot gear who drove the "Walker bomb" into the prison? Andrea? It seemed to be a petite person...

She had no idea about the attack. Remember she was told the gov. "was on a run?"
^ I did not miss that scene. She is not a moron - she knew where the gov went when she was told "on a run." She had plenty of time to drive to the prision and prove her loyalty to the gov. It could have been someone else, but it does make sense. Sure looked like a female to me.

Yeah poor colonel Sanders guy, I thought he was going to score with Caroll, then bam!

I hope this really wakes up Rick.

BTW I'm surprise how they can one shot walkers but can't hit humans, even if those humans are just standing still

I edited my post because it looked too harsh in the first draft, hope you didn't take offense. And thinking about it, you may be right. There was that smile on the gov.'s face when the truck smashed the gate...Like he was pleasantly surprised...Still, it would be a complete about face in her attitude, wouldn't it?
