You know it's bad when the girl notices.

This is why I love being in control of the remote. Because my family does that too. I just hit pause until people shut up. DVR makes it all possible.

I wish Kumail spoke more. I only just discovered him from my other new found discovery of Doug Loves Movies podcast. I always look forward to his appearances.

Um, spoilers!

Oh, Lori is not dead, she had her c-section sewed up, dodged a bullet from her son, and got a nice new white dress. We've seen her since, so stop lying to us.

Man that was rough, had some formatting shenanigans there.

Does it matter? Do we even know the black guy's name, the Governors other main henchman?

Just because it was a female body doesn't mean it was Andrea. Why would she send a zombie paddy wagon then facilitate a parley between the groups to get along. She's an idiot in the show, but she's not that demented.

There was a female character back before that show that was on the wall, she was definitely in the know on some of the Govs tactics. We haven't seen here since, but that doesn't me she's not still in the town.

Does it matter? It was whoever the Governor or his lieutenants ordered to do it, just as they were preparing to do again in the latest episode.

That's a union job. So only someone with a zombie driving union card could have done it. That means: henchman #3.

I thought it was obviously Milton because when he was talking to the Govenour at the end he said, I hope you find who did it and the Gov. said I already did, then cue the death stare and his grimacing all pissed that Milton did it.

Well we know Gov thinks it was Milton, but we don't know for a fact it was Milton. They hid the identity. Maybe it was Martinez after his little bro hug with Daryl at the meeting. Someone said it was the other guy in Tyrese's group, I thought that was a pretty good idea. But I'm pretty sure Gov said he's booting them all if 1 of them screws up.

BTW I personally think it was Milton, that's just babbling above.

The very fact that everything's pointing to Milton probably means it's not Milton. First rule of TV drama. wink.gif

Thanks for the laugh!

The one important bit of trivia that I'm obsessed about, and which no one else has mentioned is: what happened to Martinez' hat? He used to always wear a trucker's cap. In the last 2-3 episodes, he's bare-headed. Did he lose it, or did he send it for dry cleaning?

"As an actor, I'd really like my time on TWD to be a career-builder for me. But nobody will even recognize me if I have to keep wearing this stupid hat. Can I lose it for the next few episodes?" smile.gif

Highly doubtful. That guy is pissed at Tyrese because he doesn't want Tyrese to "ruin it for them" because he let Andrea go over the fence. I don't think he would do anything that would get him booted out.

As mentioned before, Andrea let the cat out of the bag on the Talking Dead and said it was Milton and then tried to play it like it was just an obvious observation.

Something I did get why was the guy with his kid so pissed at Tyrese, something about Donna, the guys wife? I believe Tyrese save her life once or something. Also that guy looks too young to have a kid that old, well I'm 44 and have a 23 year old but something I didn't expect to see on WD smile.gif

Yeah that was funny on TD how Andrea tried to play it straight as a matter of fact about that situation rolleyes.gif Another thing she was a little withholding about her character chooses, and little defensive, but was pulling on the reins..She must have been reading the forums, and how they feel about her at the moment.

So...

What you're saying is...

Lori faked her death so that she could leave Rick. Andrea not only drove the delivery truck, but the truck itself was hand-built by her over the winter and she had kept that secret from Michonne... and Andrea personally rounded up all those zombies in the back of the truck as well, and each zombie was actually a friend or relative of everyone at the prison just to get even with them. And last, but not least, Milton is actually Carl from the future who has time-traveled back to the present in order to change the course of events... which is why he has been reluctant to join the people in the prison for fear that Rick might recognize him and spoil his undercover work at trying to undermine the governor.

Oh... and the shock twist surprise for the final episode this season?

The governor is revealed to also be Carl from even farther in the future... and he has always known that Milton is his younger self, which is why he never kills Milton for anything he does since he knows it will erase him from the timeline. See, turns out that everything Milton does just makes things worse, so he has to go back in time yet again and become the governor to try and set the timeline right.

I think we'll see that in the flashback that opens the next episode. biggrin.gif

Oh, I forgot...

Things get REALLY crazy when we find out Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Andrea is actually Carl from a parallel Earth who thought she time-traveled into her past to fix things only to find herself in a parallel world where she is a young boy so she has to keep her identity a secret. Imagine what happens when she realizes that the governor is a future version of her male parallel counterpart.

The last time I remember him wearing it was when he and the Gov were shooting at the prison from the edge of the woods.

Governor torched the pits. He has multiple personalities, and he hasn't discovered them yet.

Lori torched the pits, she's not dead, as we all know. She just made it look that way because she doesn't have the time for all this baby crap. But she still doesn't want her kids to be eaten by zombies.

The old lady with arthritis torched the pits. Governor never gave her the job he promised, so she's undermining his tactics.

The zombie delivery truck driver, the one we all know is Andrea, did the pits.

The nameless black guy henchman did it, hiding his guilt by being the one to discover it.

All perfectly acceptable I think.

They keep asking the question on the Talking Dead: WHo shou be the one to kill the Governor?

I think it would be hilarious if while Rick and the Governor were facing off for the final showdown, you see the old lady and athsma kid walk up and pop him then the show just ends.

So, is the trend of ending every episode with a song montage something new? I've only really noticed it in the past 4 or 5 episodes and can't remember it being done a whole lot before now. Do I just have a bad memory? Either way, I wish they would stop, its a boring way to end a show. Stargate Universe did this for almost every episode and it was just annoying; when you hear the pop song, you know the episode is over. I wish they'd stop it in The Walking Dead. Guess they need to sell a soundtrack though.

So I usually record the show later Sunday instead of the 9:00 PM EST timeslot due to programming conflicts, but instead of getting Walking Dead I get other shows. Anybody else having this issue? FIOS VHO8

I doubt the motivation is that craven. More likely the montage is just an artistic choice by the producers/writers. Lends a kind of moody wrap-up to a heavily dramatic show. Some folks really like it; less don't, is my guess.
I've always found the musical montage to be a lazy cop out by writers. It bugs the crap out of me. biggrin.gif
