Here's a link showing it coming up for sale at Walmart.

The link is not coming through properly, but if you go to Walmart and paste

Blu-ray: Alice In Wonderland (2010) (3D) (Blu-ray) (Widescreen)

it states

Preorder this item today and it should ship on 12/07/2010

Has anyone else heard rumors? I thought this was going to be offered as an exclusive?

I tried again at Walmart.com. Just type "Alice in Wonderland 3D" and it comes in.

It's got a list price of $49.99 and Walmart is selling it for $33.86.

Maybe it's going to be a Sony freebe with purchases and for sale of all those PS3 owners

Maybe Sony is the only one with 3D Blu rays for sale and want to make more money. Why dose it always have to come down to PS3's?

They seem to be, Cloudy and Monster House are the only 3D Blu Ray's currently. Strange that a company like Sony would do that.

Hell, there is so little out there, I would consider buying the piece of crap Air Bender if it were available.

Not Airbender. Even as an addict I wouldn't stoop that low.

Not that strange; blu-ray is sony so they would also want 3d to win... ps3 getting 3d will drive sales of both hopefully then we should start seeing 3d discs at a decent pace.

Walmart.com is also showing a polar express 3D blu-ray to be released on 10/05/2010

The problem with the Polar Express is that Walmart doesn't state if it is a re-release of the old 3D version or if it is a new tru-3D version.

I liked the movie very much on HD DVD and would buy it in Blu ray 3D if it is real 3D.
This wouldn't surprise me considering Sony seems to be the only one selling stand alone movies and they own the tech.

Would love to see Polar Express and Nightmare Before Christmas too

I just received an email from Amazon UK regarding Open House 3D giving a release date of November 22 in the UK.

Maybe with the PS3 3D firmware moved up again to September the powers that be feel they will be able to move product.

Warner Announces Six 3D Blu-ray Titles for General Release

Alleviating the scarcity of 3D Blu-ray titles at retail, Warner Home Video has announced that on November 16 it will release six 3D BDs unfettered by exclusive hardware bundles: Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore (WHV's first 3D day-and-date title), Clash of the Titans, The Polar Express, and the IMAX documentaries Deep Sea (previously Sony-exclusive), Space Station (previously bundled with LG hardware overseas) and Under the Sea (previously LG-exclusive).

"This is an exciting time in the industry and we are thrilled to be a part of this evolution in home entertainment," said Dorinda Marticorena, SVP of worldwide marketing and high-def. "As sales of Blu-ray 3D hardware increase during the holidays, we wanted to ensure that consumers have access to a diverse selection of 3D content, not attached to an exclusive bundle, which will showcase the amazing possibilities of this brilliant new format - and this is just the beginning.

All these 3D Blu-ray releases will include 2D BD versions of the films. Clash and Cats & Dogs 2 will come in BD/DVD/Digital Copy combo packs. The latter will include as a bonus "Coyote Falls," a new Looney Tunes short - animated in 3D.

Suggested retail price is $44.95 for each BD.

I've seen this twice at the theater and it is a great conversion. It probably won't be popular with the jump out in your face fans though. More like the past Toy Story 1 & 2 conversions.
Having the 3-D movies priced above 2-D is a win for blu-ray in general. They will probably be forced to lower the 2-D prices.
Its actually pretty good at home, there is some pop effects, but not in your face, the depth of the 3D was very good for a conversion film. I want my own copy but this title is near impossible to find for under $200

Alice 3D is already $150 on ebay.
Wait until Dec 7th and buy it for normal price when it hits retail.

Why pay ridiculous prices when you can wait two months and get it anywhere for $27? I don't get it. But it's not my money!

I can buy it, watch it and then sell it for at least the same amount. Its like renting it for free.
Yes, its in stock in the USA if you buy the Sony Starter pack, My friend just bought his from Amazon and he got the movie from there..
I am as excited for 3D releases as the next guy, or so I thought... But I disliked this movie so much that even in 3D it holds zero interest for me...

I hope those of you that got it LOVE it. I can not wait for films I actually liked to come out
