Altec Lansing 2CH Eq

Hi everyone. I have a question for some of you who know more than I do (probably everyone).

I was recently gifted an Altec Lansing 2 Channel Equalizer and really don't know what to do with it. My HT set up isn't quite advanced enough to need such a device.

It's an Altec Lansing 1432a (tried to post a link, but can't if it's my first post)

That is what I got. I was wondering if anyone has some suggestions or know if it's worth anything.

Thanks for your time everyone!

Without knowing what the rest of your system consists of, it is impossible to say if the EQ is worth using. If your system is multichannel (more than just 2-channel stereo) a 2-channel EQ is pretty useless IMHO.

Oh, obviously haha. I'm sorry.

here is a quick list of my set up:

5.1 sony speaker set up (4 bookshelfs and a proper center channel), with denon 571(model number might be off as my memory isn't 100%) reciever and panasonic viera plasma
(typical others like Wii, Xbox360 and HD DVR cable box)

Just jumping in here to bump the topic, I'm moving soon and figured I'd find out if I need/want this item or if I should sell it cheap just to get it out of the moving pile.

Thanks!

thanks bluesky, duely noted.

Post it on Craigslist or EBAY. There are a LOT of folks who would love to have it for a rack style PA system.

oh i won't junk it. it's in too good of shape. i'll bring it to the new house and once the unpacking is settled i'll toss it up for sale somewhere online.

it should go to a good home.
