Hey guys. I play a ton of fighting games on my 73c10. My input delay is around 25ms which equals to about a 1 1/2 frame delay in the game. Is there any way to disable all video processing in this tv so that I can get the sub 16ms input delay that I need?
Use the game mode on the tv

Or maybe change a setting on your game console

I had to change a setting on the ps3 when i played saints row 2
post #1204 of 1375
I've done that already. Game mode doesnt disable all processing

Xbox 360 outputting at 1080p. I'm testing the input delay with the Rock Band 2 calibration test. I just need to know how can I disable ALl video processing.
there are no settings on the tv to stop processing

edit: maybe video noice? Video Noise: Off

im pretty sure your problem is a setting on the xbox

The one I have is very similar to the one attached. The towers and top (as well as a shelf) were one unit that I purchased several years ago from Costco and used with my RPTV. When I upgraded last year I usd a generic stand for a few months, then Costco got in a new 60" wide TV stand (I have the 65C10) that was very similar in style and color to my original.

Here is something similar at Sears that would work, but a bit pricey (many others to choose from as well)

I agree and the Superbowl feed was PERFECT this year...no pixelation or anything..looked Incredible on my 60638. Thats when you know your tv is good...when the material thats put in it is good.

That one I linked to is now $1750. I probably paid a total of $1400 or so for my setup.

If you have an Ashley Furniture Store you can check this one out

Or head to Ikea and grab this

Has there been a new firmware update

12.02 is the latest?
The best way to answer that question is to check the Mitsubishi web site under the Support tab. They always list only the most recent software. It is usally the first place new software is available. Your model does not updated over the internet so the web site is the only place to get the software.

12.02 is the latest on the website. i updated to it a few months ago. didn't notice any changes.

Most updates from all manufacturers are bug fixes. If you have not experianced the bug you would not notice the fix.

You might ask in the 738/838 thread. I seem to remember mention of a similar problem.
Hey, I just got my 73638. I bought it used, so I have no warranty, or anything like that. I have notice an issue with it, and I'm trying to fix it, but I don't know how to. I've tried the service menu, and calibrating it like that, but none of it helped. The problem that I am having is that my image looks to be doubled in some places on the TV. There are 2 vertical bars, each about 8" from the left and right side where the picture is pretty blurry, but is clear on the very edges of the screen, and also in a semi circle on the top of the screen. It has been pointed out to me, and now it is bugging me. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Gently push (using a clean towel) on the screen in the blurry areas to see if it comes into focus. Alternatively, you can use a suction cup to gently pull in the same areas. You may have a warped screen, or it could be out of position and need to be snapped back into place. You can also look at the screen from an extreme angle to check for bowing or warping.

I tried that, and to no avail. going back and doing the manual geometry in the service manual seems to have slightly improved the top part, but not really. I looked in the access ports on the back, and everything looked clean with the tv on. I also unplugged it and took the lamp out and it looked good, so I put it back in, still no fix. Any more ideas?
