Greetings,
There seems to be a significant calibration flaw with the VT25 Series Panasonic displays that makes it very important for the system to be setup properly. Specifically, the display applies different signal processing to YCbCr signals than RGB signals causing for a very different grayscale based on the type of signal. This is apparent in both the THX Mode with the factory menu calibration and the ISF Mode with the grayscale calibration. I checked to ensure that two grayscales, one for each color space, could not be calibrated separately, but they share the same settings.
Does anyone know of a workaround or have you even experienced this? I say we put pressure on Panasonic to fix it with an update. :-)
Good Pictures! :-)
Dave
