HDTV.. if you search the thread. some people have an answer about the lack of the 24P for dvd. you can take a look and respond.

I don't believe there is any such thing as 1.3 vs 1.4 cables. There is a (supposed) certification process for standard vs highspeed, but they are physically the same. A given standard cable may be highspeed, just not certified as such.
