if you really want to see the real difference. you better visit the store because it doesn't matter what people post here, there are too many variables; camera settings, lighting, etc.... and the biggest problem is you're viewing on a LCD monitor.

About the S2 and VT. VT is top of the line with everything, including better PQ. S2 is just the middle line for those who wants biggest size, average PQ and less $. Get VT if PQ is your top priority, get S2 if size concerns you. I went with the 65S2 myself recently.

How big of a difference is the pq between the two? Should i bother? I was thinking of te 58" vt25 but the 65" is tempting not going to lie but idk if its worth the extra 7"

if you have 2 side by side, you definitely see the difference. the better gas in the VT for 3D really helps better 2D quality too...heck, even the last generation V10 w/o 3D thing still outperforms the S2.

also the S2 is very grainy. it's a little less on VT, but it's there. however, that is the diff between LCD vs. Plasma. I personally hate it, but for the same money I know I can't get any LCD/Plasma at this size.

now you just need to decide PQ vs. size....not an easy decision, is it?

I bought an S2 2 weeks ago today and I don't find it "grainy" at all nhhiep. The picture on my S2 is light years beyond what any of my other LCD HDTV's have given me.

Is very hard to decide so true, i might wait and get the 65"vt25 instead of the s2
