Some will break their budgets and have their wallets crying for mercy!

The Karate Kid
Beauty and The Beast
Last Of The Mohicans

That starts me rolling right from the get go. I'll update my list in a few days or so as I make some concrete decisions on others I really want as well depending on the price at release. What are your plans?

Mad Max
Robocop
Beauty and The Beast
Last Of The Mohicans
Three Kings
Predators
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Moulin Rouge (Already Have)
Romeo and Juliet
Apocalypse Now (3 Disc)
Back To the Future (UK tin)
Aliens (standard they are not getting too much cash from me)
Catch and Release / It Could Happen to You

It's going to take me awhile to compile my list because it's long and expensive.

However, looking over October selections in that link, I was stunned to see THE CALIFORNIA KID from 1974. I mean...really stunned. It was a made-for-TV movie that played a big role in shaping the modern hot rod and custom car movement. I saw it when it first aired. I was 15 or 16 and it's always stayed with me. I don't know if I ever saw it rerun here.

Beauty and the Beast (Diamond Edition)

The Exorcist: Extended Director's Cut

Grindhouse: Special Edition (if I can get it at a low price - not in a hurry due to the lossy audio)
The Human Centipede (maybe)

The Last of the Mohicans (depends on reviews)

Mad Max (depends on reviews)

Robocop Trilogy (depends on reviews)

Three Kings

Apocalypse Now: Full Disclosure Edition

Alien Anthology

T.B.

How To Train Your Dragon
Apocalypse Now

Alien Anthology is a strong posibility, just love the first two so much and it may be tough to resist (I'll literally give away the other two titles to friends, they will not reside on my shelf alongside movies I enjoy). Will depend on the price I guess.

It's an Alliance release (yes, I know), arriving Oct 5th in Canada....avail on Amazon.ca at a great price. Even tho it's Alliance, it's a foregone conclusion that it'll be better than the non-anamorphic dvd. At least it's 1080p, and Alliance has been pretty good with providing lossless audio (yes, even with 'The English Patient', which sported DTS-HD MA -- altho it was only 1080i). Anyhoo, I LOVE 'Life is Beautiful', which so rightfully deserved its 'Best Foreign Language Film' Oscar win a few years back ....can't wait.

Here's the official announcem't on Blu-ray.com...

I've just seen them too many times. I think I might buy Paths to Glory depending on the transfer reviews though.
