The constant changing of Danny's partners have definitely taken away from this season. The last handful of episodes have been pretty good, much better than the start of the season when it seemed the show had no direction at all.

Surprise! Danny has yet another new partner. I agree with the earlier comment: bring back Jackie!

This last one I thought fit the mold better than the last two. Seems like they're all auditioning.

What was wrong with her, the fact that she looked more like a cop than a beauty queen? I didn't think she was too bad; however, I did like the blond better.

I agree that Danny's replacement partners have all been pale imitations of the inimitable Jackie. Still, I remain so fond of all the Reagans, I continue to like the show well enough to stick with it despite the loss of Jackie.

Just checked the listing, another "Danny" episode tonite..Why not rename the show "The Danny Reagan hour?".. What about Jamie? He should have some exciting episodes written about him..

Did you not watch it? All of the adult Reagans got significant air time last night, not just Danny. I thought it was a good episode.

While I still enjoy the show, I have to admit it usually centers more on Danny than anyone else.  That's not necessarily a bad thing for me, as I like Wahlberg and the Danny character.  Never hurts to see Bridget Moynahan either!  As a nit picker, I can get annoyed by obvious stupid procedures - like yelling "hey stop, police" at a felon who is 1/2 a block away and can now run through traffic.    But, any show has those and on the whole I like this one.

this was the 1st episode I ever saw a Reagan turn down a drink of whiskey. I thought the ex-astro sub-plot was beyond lame.

I really hope they take this off-season to determine where they are going with this show. As much as I enjoy the show and the characters, the constant changing of the type of show they want it to be is enough to drive a person nuts. One week it's a procedural, another week it's a family drama, another week it's a gritty cop show, another week it's a show to tackle social issues. Seems like it wasn't that way the first two seasons. I realize real life can be that way, but TV shows are supposed to be somewhat constant. I need to go back and watch some of the first few episodes of season 1 to compare.

And I hope they get a permanent partner for Danny so the chemistry between the two can start. While I think the new woman is pretty good, there's no chemistry between she and Danny.

This show is so over, and it has nothing to do with the latest partner for Danny. I was a week behind and watched two episodes last night. I was utterly dismayed by last week's episode where the nice Catholic girl converts to Islam and her Father kills her for it. This is Political Correctness run amok. Catholics do not engage in honor killings, Muslims do.

More to the point, the writers need to understand that Danny is by nature Politically Incorrect. He does things that are borderline or even over the line, and gets called for it from his brother/sister/father/boss/wife/partner. He is NEVER PC, whether he has been to Anger Management or not.

Having his sister agonizing over whether a bad guy had his rights trampled on last night's episode was also utterly wrong. She needs to be greasing the skids in front of the suspects, getting them the extra 25-to-life for the third strike, not wringing her hands over anybody's rights except the crime victims. And WHAT THE HECK is it with this show that they have to show so many corrupt female ADA's?

This one is swirling around the drain for me. I'll leave the Season Pass on the TiVo, but unless things improve rapidly, including having JUSTICE triumph over being PC, the flush is happening.

Longtime fan of BB as I like the cast and the family aspect. The only show I can watch with my wife as stuff like "The Vikings" and "Continuum" is not her cup of tea.

I agree the over the top PC Danny reaction to the whole Muslim theme was out of character. And don't go there with the moral equivalency of the albeit murdering Catholic Dad to the culturally acceptable Honor Killings was too much. The Church is always a big target for Hollywood and some of its behavior deserves the criticism, but God forbid that shows run strong themes deeply critical of those who will blow you up for attacking their beliefs.

Social commentary has always been part of BB and sometimes they've had the courage to take some non-PC shots, but this season continues to be a train wreck.

Agreed. Asides from some bad editing issues, the storylines were reminiscent of the first two seasons.

I finally got to watch Friday's episode and thought it was the best one they've done all season.

When is Tom Selleck going to do a TV movie playing Teddy Roosevelt. The photo of him is in every episode at least once, and Tom sure is made up to look like him right down to the granny glasses and the speck softly and care a big stick.

He actually is playing a latter day Teddy. Theodore Roosevelt was the New York City Police Commissioner in 1895....

I know, its real apparent. Old Teddy got around.

This week's show was the best of the season. Looks like the show is back to old form. Friday's show looks to be good as well. It's a shame the season is ending with things getting back on track.

Thought the week previous episode was excellent. The stripper & bartender thieves and murderesses. Then again , any episode with strippers is excellent.
