ps3 3d border issue.

Monsters vs Aliens and Monster house worked fine on my ps3 slim Move bundle ps3 and my UN55C8000 tv but I get the ratio borders on the top and the bottom of my screen. Is it the movie to blame or a ps3 setting?

If you are talking about the letterboxing, then I am pretty sure that is in the movie. Better get used to it.

Is the movie or PS3 to blame?

Displaying something in its correct aspect ratio is not something deserving of blame.

So are all 3d movies like that? Or just all the 3d movies out currently.

Some movies are and some aren't. It's been like that forever.

Your TV is 16:9 wide screen. The movies you are referring to we're filmed (so to speak, as they are animated) in anamorphic wide screen. As that is the case, there are going to be the black bars (letter box) on your TV. This is completely normal and will always be the case when the movie was filmed wider than 16:9. You should always be able to look at the back of the movie box to see the filmed aspect ratio. When the aspect ratio is wider than 16:9, expect it to be letter box.

Any tips on the best settings to eliminate ghosting/cross talk?

I sorta messed up the settings and I cannot get them to work as good as before. Even a settings restore option wont help and searching the forum I could not find any settings that are for UN55c8000 and the ps3 as a blu ray player.

I would deeply appreciate if somebody could post the ps3 and tv settings here or at least a link.

Thank you.
