oppo bdp-83 versus playstation 3 in blu ray pq  

I think this topic could be a whole show on Mythbusters. (and they could blow up the loser at the end.)

The PS3 does not come close to the Oppo for Picture Quality The PS3 is a very low in picture Quality. And Yes I do have both and the Flagship Denon.

I have the ps3 slim, the fat ps3. a Samsung 2500, a Panasonic DMP-Bd60, and the Oppo BDP83. they pretty much all have the same Blu PQ. The question is who has the best DVD up conversion. The answer is the OPPO.

I would think the VRS 2010 chip from Oppo would have better Picture Quality then any of those player. The Question is are you looking on a small screen the bigger the screen the more help you need. I have a 14ft 2.40.1 screen and the difference is huge on the Oppo and the Flagship Denon.
