I believe that one needs to start in THX in order to have access to settings (e.g., custom gamma, RGB gains and offsets) that one may wich to change, over the course of the calibration.
I ask these questions because I'm confused by the statement and because I recently calibrated my 8700 starting in THX mode and have been happy with the results. Would calibrating starting in TB2 mode produce different end results?
