Ceil Mount a TableTop Projector

I have an Optoma tabletop projector which I am very happy with. I am building a new Home Theater and I would like to use this one (rather than buying a new one), but would like to Ceil-mount it.

Any ideas?

Note: This one is manufactured only to be used as a Table-top, so it does not come with any off-the-shelf accessories.

The model number is Optoma DV10. The one with the DVD player in it.

This is the one I am talking about:

That model is not designed to be ceiling mounted. There is no option in the menu to flip the image. So if you need to mount a projector to the ceiling, you'll have to get another one. Besides, I rather think that having to climb UP to the projector to change the DVD would get old real quick.

That is what I also learned.

But if there was some way for mounting it, it would have been better. I am not particular about using the in-build DVD player. I would use it as a regular projector.

Please read my first reply. There is NO option for flipping the image to accommodate mounting on the ceiling. If you did find a way to mount it, the image would be upside down. And because of the way the projector throws the image, if you were to mount a shelf up there, the image would be on the ceiling.

Bottom line, you CANNOT use the DV10 for ceiling mounted applications.
