Metabrowser wont run? Salami crashes? Cant get any meta data working

I uninstalled both programs and even tried to remove registry entries. I try to start metabrowser the old beta version on their main download page and had it already installed but when I start the program nothing happens. It shows up if I hit ctr alt del but I cant ever see the program. I try salami and it crashes each time at startup.

I tried media center master but I want control to be able to change the folder name manually.

The reason I preferred metabrowser is that while it is verifying each title you can edit the movie file and the folder itself. I just figured it would save a lot of time for me. I just dont get why neither program is working. I just uninstalled both again and searched my c: including hidden files for any remains of either program than ran regedit and searched there and deleted them and both still will not work. Salami is looking for a folder that no longer exists but I dont see where its storing my preferences after deleting it. Metabrowser I have no clue whats wrong but it might be the same thing since I moved a folder on my server.
